I shoot and develop my own film. I am in no way claiming these are works of art, but there is something incredibly fascinating about the way colors develop depending on many different variables. Type of film, brand of film, how old the film is, which camera is used, the lighting, the chemicals used, the amount of time negatives are exposed to each chemical, what temperature the film was stored at, how humid it was, and the list continues. There is something about the lack of control you have when it comes to film that keeps me enthralled in the entire process.
