The goal of this project was to showcase Lennart Holm’s personal collection. The conceptual idea for my design was to have multiple masses creating a single interior space. Instead of having separate rooms or gallery spaces the differing volumes would create suggested spaces and procession throughout the museum. The project's site is a 6 acre plot in the Brooklyn Navy Yards.

This is the "worst" project I've ever designed. This, as a deliverable, was a complete failure of a design. BUT, I have never learned as much from a project as I have from this one. I put this in my portfolio because I strongly believe "failure" and whatever connotation society places onto that term is one of the best teaching methods. We grow through our vulnerability. Because of this studio, this project, and everything that contributed to this, I learned who I wanted to become as a student, as a person, and as a designer. This project, though it is my "worst," is the project that I am most grateful for during my undergraduate education.
