The “wall project” was my first design project. The intent behind the assignment was to define the “rules” behind a wall and to
design a module to fit these set guidelines. This module must then solve the problem of the corner. The basic principles of design, theory and scale were addressed.

The first questions I asked myself is; Is a wall just a sight barrier? Or is it a barrier for noise? These questions lead me to the "rules", which are as followed:
1. A wall must direct movement, either starting, stopping, or defining a path.
2. The wall must allow only the elements through it, no human beings.
3. The wall must spark curiosity about what is behind it, enough of a visual obstacle to inspire someone to look through or go around.
